Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for bismuth, as well as the content of contracts (or purchase orders).
This standard applies to bismuth produced by pyrometallurgical refining or electrolytic refining. The product is mainly used in pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, metallurgical additives, and low-melting-point alloys, etc.
