Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic functions and parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of waterproof performance testing instruments for textiles.
This standard applies to testing instruments (hereinafter referred to as static water pressure instruments) used to measure the waterproof permeability of textiles under a constant rate of water pressure rise.
