Scope

This document provides descriptive statistical results and percentiles of hearing thresholds, with the average value being the reference hearing threshold specified in GB/T 4963-2007 and GB/T 4854.7-2008. The average and percentiles of hearing thresholds are determined under the following conditions:
a) In the absence of subjects, the sound field is a free plane wave field (free field);
b) The sound source is directly facing the subject (frontal incidence);
c) The acoustic signal is a pure tone (sine signal);
d) The sound pressure level is measured at the center of the subject's head in the absence of subjects;
e) Binaural audiometry;
f) The subjects are normal individuals aged 18 to 25 with normal hearing function.
