Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the determination of the content of trace oxides in industrial ethylene and propylene by gas chromatography.
1.2 This standard is applicable to the determination of ethylene and propylene with a concentration of not less than 0.5 mL/m3 of methanol, dimethyl ether, methyl tert-butyl ether, acetaldehyde, ethanol, isopropanol, acetone, and butanone.
