Scope

This document specifies the structure, classification, marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, installation requirements, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of bird-repellent baffles for AC overhead transmission lines. This document is applicable to bird-repellent baffles used on AC overhead transmission lines with voltages ranging from 66 kV to 750 kV. AC 35 kV overhead transmission lines and DC overhead transmission lines may refer to and adopt the provisions of this document for reference.
