Scope
This document describes the testing steps for preparing test samples (such as offset printing and letterpress printing) on paper, cardboard, metal, aluminum foil, and other suitable substrates using the Printability Tester (IGT model) and the Printability Tester (prüfbau model).
This document describes the testing steps based on optical density and reference ink film thickness.
This document describes the usage method of the current model of the Printability Tester. Most of the described steps also apply to older models, but additional steps or conversion settings may be required to meet the requirements of this document.
