Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, usage conditions, basic classification, technical requirements, structure and selection requirements, testing, installation, operation and maintenance, marking, labels and accompanying documents, packaging, transportation and storage of electromagnetic current transformers (hereinafter referred to as "current transformers") used in power supply. This document is applicable to electromagnetic current transformers with a voltage rating of 0.38kV to 1000kV and a rated frequency of 50Hz, used in electrical measurement instruments and electrical protection devices.
