Scope

This standard specifies the quality and inspection cycle that transformer oil and circuit breaker oil should meet during operation. This standard applies to the quality supervision of mineral transformer oil and circuit breaker oil filled into electrical equipment during operation. The oil used for generators can be used for reference. This standard does not apply to mineral oil used as an impregnating agent in cables or capacitors.
