Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the loop height and pile density of towel products.
This standard applies to machine-woven towel products. It does not apply to towel products that cannot eliminate the curling of yarns under certain tensile strength, and to towel products whose yarns are damaged during the weaving, finishing, and analysis process of this method.
