Scope

This document describes the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry determination method for thirteen restricted fragrances in daily-use fragrances.
This document is only applicable to the determination of citral, citraldehyde, geraniol, cinnamaldehyde, hydroxycitronellal, cinnamyl alcohol, eugenol, coumarin, isoeugenol, maltol, alpha-hexyl cinnamaldehyde, benzyl benzoate, and benzyl salicylate in liquid daily-use fragrances using propylene glycol monomethyl ether, isopropyl palmitate, or glycerin triacetate as solvents, or without solvents.
