Scope

This standard specifies the identification of occupational hazard factors in the wooden furniture manufacturing industry, the basic requirements for the prevention and control of occupational hazards (hereinafter referred to as prevention and control), including process layout, protective facilities, personal protective equipment, warning signs, occupational hazard declaration, detection and evaluation, establishment of occupational health systems, occupational health surveillance, training, and file management, as well as requirements for emergency rescue and disposal.
This standard applies to enterprises, institutions, and individual economic organizations engaged in wooden furniture manufacturing (hereinafter referred to as wooden furniture manufacturing units) for the prevention and control of occupational hazards, and to occupational health supervision and management departments for the supervision of occupational health in the wooden furniture manufacturing industry.
