Scope
This document specifies the types, models, and usage conditions of mechanical pre-cooling equipment (hereinafter referred to as "pre-cooling equipment"), technical requirements, and test methods, etc.
This document is applicable to cold air pre-cooling and vacuum pre-cooling mechanical pre-cooling equipment used for post-harvest pre-cooling of fresh agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, and edible fungi. Cold (ice) water pre-cooling mechanical pre-cooling equipment can be referenced for implementation.
This document is not applicable to pre-cooling chambers in cold storage facilities supplied by mechanical refrigeration systems, except for pre-cooling systems that independently provide environmental conditions for a specific pre-cooling room by pre-cooling units.
