Scope
This standard specifies the minimum performance requirements and test methods for the braking systems of tracked machines, in order to conduct a unified evaluation of the braking systems for driving braking, auxiliary braking, and parking braking.
This standard applies to self-propelled tracked machines with a maximum design speed of no more than 20 km/h as defined in GB/T 8498, and also includes derivative earthmoving machinery with rubber tracks.
This standard does not apply to machines defined in GB/T 25609 or wheeled machines with covered tracks.
Tracked machines with a maximum design speed of more than 20 km/h should use GB/T 21152.
