Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of student notebooks, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to all kinds of school notebooks (workbooks) used by ordinary primary and secondary school students, as well as to notebook products used by students in ordinary secondary vocational schools, kindergarten children, and school teachers. This standard does not apply to notebook products used by blind and deaf students in special education schools.
