Scope

This standard specifies the grades, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of methyl vinyl silicone rubber (MVQ). This standard applies to methyl vinyl silicone rubber obtained by polymerization using dimethyl siloxane-based cyclic compounds and methyl vinyl cyclic siloxane as the main raw materials, under the capping effect of tetramethyl diphenyl disiloxane or methyl capping agents.
