Scope

This standard specifies the method for calculating the reusability and recyclability of earthmoving machinery (as defined in ISO 6165) and the definition of related terms, expressed as a percentage of the machine's mass (mass percentage). These machines may be:
——reused and/or reused (reusability);
——recycled and/or reused (recyclability).
Note: Reuse includes remanufacturing.
The calculation can be completed by the machine manufacturer during the initial market launch of the machine.
