Scope

This regulation applies to the inspection of tensile, compression, and universal testing machines (hereinafter referred to as "testing machines") with a maximum test force of 25 kN to 10 MN, which are newly manufactured, in use, or repaired. (The inspection of testing machines with a test force exceeding 10 MN can be carried out with reference to this regulation.)
