Scope

This guidance technical document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for intelligent protection and monitoring equipment in substations, including conventional protection and monitoring devices and intelligent substation protection and monitoring devices (hereinafter referred to as devices). This guidance technical document applies to intelligent protection and monitoring equipment in substations with voltage levels of 110 kV and below, and serves as the basis for the development, design, manufacture, testing, and operation of the devices.
