Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, and storage of bronze shut-off valves for marine flanges according to GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501 (hereinafter referred to as shut-off valves).
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of shut-off valves used in steam pipeline systems with media such as freshwater, seawater, lubricating oil, fuel oil, and temperatures not exceeding 250 °C.
