YY 0833-2020 General technical requirements for compression physiotherapy equipment for limbs

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and composition, requirements, and test methods for limb compression therapy equipment (hereinafter referred to as the equipment). This standard applies to electrical equipment that applies positive pressure to limbs by placing a compression chamber around the limbs and following a specific treatment procedure, using varying air pressure to provide physical therapy to patients. This standard does not apply to the following equipment: hemostatic equipment; anti-bedsore air cushions; shock wave therapy equipment; cupping devices; airbag extracorporeal counterpulsation devices; ballistic extracorporeal pressure wave therapy devices; ischemia preconditioning training devices; and emergency equipment.
