Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection and determination, packaging, marking and user's manual, transportation and storage of luteinizing hormone (LH) detection strips.

This standard is applicable to luteinizing hormone (LH) detection strips (hereinafter referred to as "detection strips") that determine the LH level in women's urine by the principle of colloidal gold immunoassay, in order to predict the time of ovulation and guide women of childbearing age to choose the best time for conception or guide them to use safe period contraception.
