Scope

This part of GB/T 30844 specifies the safety requirements related to electrical, thermal, and energy aspects of general-purpose frequency conversion speed control equipment or its components, excluding the power supply. This part does not cover frequency conversion speed control equipment and electric motors used in traction and electric vehicles. This part applies to general-purpose frequency conversion speed control equipment (hereinafter referred to as frequency conversion speed control equipment) with a rated input voltage of AC 1 kV or lower, a rated input frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, an output voltage not exceeding 1 kV, and an output frequency of less than 600 Hz.
