Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for materials, technical specifications, inspection, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage during the manufacturing process of transmission line towers (hereinafter referred to as "towers").
This standard applies to the manufacture of transmission line towers, power microwave towers, power communication towers, and similar steel structures, which are mainly made of angle steel and connected by fasteners, and are hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection.
