GB/T 17802-2011 Thermal analysis test methods for Arrhenius kinetics constants of thermally unstable materials
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, instruments and materials, samples, test procedures, data processing, errors, and test reports for thermal analysis experiments using differential thermal analyzers (DTA) and differential scanning calorimeters (DSC) to measure the Arrhenius equation kinetic constants of exothermic reactions of thermally unstable substances.
This standard applies to reactions that can be described by the Arrhenius equation and general rate laws.
This standard does not apply to reactions where the curve deviates from a straight line, where part of the reaction is suppressed, where synchronous or continuous reactions occur, where phase transitions occur and the reaction rate is very significant at the transition temperature, and where chemical reactions cannot be controlled.
