Scope

This section applies to any wireless communication device that can emit electromagnetic fields (EMFs), is worn on the limbs in the manner described by the manufacturer during use, and has its emitting part no more than 200mm away from the human body. This section applies to radiofrequency exposure in the frequency range of 30MHz to 6GHz, and can also be used to measure the simultaneous exposure from multiple radio transmitters of limb-worn devices. This section does not apply to the exposure assessment of medical implantable devices that either emit or do not emit radiation.
