Scope

This document establishes the technical process for embryo production and transplantation in cattle, specifies the selection and management of donors, superovulation and artificial insemination of donors, non-surgical embryo collection and embryo quality assessment, frozen preservation and thawing of embryos, and technical requirements for embryo transplantation and pregnancy examination. It also describes the verification methods. This document is applicable to the technical operations of embryo production and transplantation in ordinary cattle.
