Scope

This standard specifies the content of pepper seeding and seedling cultivation, plantation conditions, planting techniques, pest and disease control, and harvesting and storage. This standard is applicable to the main pepper-producing regions in southwestern Sichuan, including Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Panzhihua City, and parts of Ya'an City; the high-altitude valleys of southwestern Sichuan (Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture); and the mountainous areas on the periphery of the basin.
