Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic structure, requirements, performance parameters, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of industrial X-ray CT devices (hereinafter referred to as CT devices).
This standard applies to fixed and mobile industrial X-ray CT devices that use low-energy X-ray sources with X-ray tubes and high-energy X-ray sources with electron linear accelerators.
