Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling and packaging, transportation, and storage of bathroom carpets (including bathroom rugs and blanket pads).
This standard applies to the quality assessment of mechanical or handmade bathroom carpets and blanket pads made from pile or non-pile materials composed of synthetic fibers, cotton, wool, and blended fibers. Other bathroom carpets, such as entrance mats, living room rugs, bedside blanket pads, and multi-purpose blankets, made from other fiber materials can also be used as reference.
