GB/T 12581-2006 Standard test method for oxidation characteristics of inhibited mineral oils
GB/T 12581-2006 Standard test method for oxidation characteristics of inhibited mineral oils
Basic Information
Scope
1.1 This standard specifies a method for evaluating the oxidation stability of turbine oil with additives under high temperatures and in the presence of oxygen, water, and metals such as copper and iron. The maximum test duration specified by this method is 10,000 hours. This method is also applicable to other oil products, such as hydraulic oil with a relative density lower than water and containing rust inhibitors and antioxidants, as well as other circulating oils. 1.2 This standard uses units from the International System of Units (SI). 1.3 This standard involves certain hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. However, it does not provide recommendations on all safety issues related to these. Therefore, users should establish appropriate safety and protective measures and determine applicable management systems before using this standard.
