Scope
This document specifies the requirements for network adaptation frame mapping, network adaptation function, and network adaptation bridging in real-time Ethernet-based time-sensitive networks. This document is applicable to industrial applications of time-sensitive networks that require deterministic latency and heterogeneous interconnectivity, and is used to guide the design of adaptation frames, priority mapping, and time synchronization for real-time Ethernet access to time-sensitive networks.
