Scope

This standard specifies the sampling and sample preparation methods, the basic theory, principles, and basic equipment and operations for determining the quality characteristics of fluorite. The sizes of sieves of different specifications are shown in Appendix A.
This standard is applicable to all grades of fluorite, namely acid-grade, ceramic-grade, and three metallurgical grades (concentrate, pellet ore, and raw ore), and is used for sampling during the loading and unloading processes of belt conveyors, trucks, and bins, as well as ships and piles of materials.
