Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of expansion-broken connecting rods (including connecting rod bodies, connecting rod covers, and connecting rod bushings) for reciprocating internal combustion engines. This standard applies to expansion-broken connecting rods for reciprocating internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter not exceeding 200 mm (hereinafter referred to as "expansion-broken connecting rods").
