Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of roasted food products. This standard applies to roasted food products made from raw materials such as black melon seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, peanut kernels, melon seeds, peanuts, broad beans, pine nuts (kernels), walnut kernels, chestnuts, and gourd seeds, etc. These products are produced through processes such as screening and removing impurities, boiling, roasting, and frying (foods that are not dried after boiling are not included here).
