Scope

This standard describes the preparation methods of test samples for testing the final aerobic and anaerobic biodegradation performance of products in water medium, activated sludge, compost, digested sludge, and soil. The aim is to achieve the consistency of test sample sizes, thereby improving the reproducibility of test results during the process of testing the final biodegradation performance of products.
These methods are applicable to the following materials:

—— Plastic materials containing additives such as plasticizers and pigments;
