This standard specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments, sampling and preparation, analysis steps, result calculation, allowable deviations, and test reports for determining the titanium content using the 2-amino-thiophenol-methane spectrophotometry method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of titanium content in chromium iron, with a measurement range (mass fraction) of 0.010% to 0.60%.
