Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, responsibilities, facilities, personnel, and equipment conditions for regular inspection stations for welded insulated gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as inspection stations). This standard applies to regularly inspected welded insulated gas cylinders that are used in normal environmental temperatures (-40°C to 60°C) and store media such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid hydrogen, liquid helium, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and liquefied natural gas. These cylinders have a nominal volume of 10 L to 500 L and an operating pressure of 0.2 MPa to 3.5 MPa, and are designed for refillable use in a vertical position.
