Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, grades, technical requirements, test methods, quality assessment procedures, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for refractory castables used in blast furnace iron outlets. This document is applicable to working-layer refractory castables (including prefabricated parts) used in blast furnace main outlets, iron outlets, slag outlets, and swinging flow chutes, as well as spray-on materials for hot repairs.
