Scope

This document describes the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and nitrite iron thiocyanate catalytic kinetic determination methods for iodine in feed. This document is suitable for the determination of iodine in compound feed, concentrated feed, concentrate supplements, additive premix feed, and feed raw materials. The detection limit of the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry method in this document is 0.05 mg/kg, and the quantitative limit is 0.10 mg/kg. The detection limit of the nitrite iron thiocyanate catalytic kinetic method is 0.10 mg/kg, and the quantitative limit is 0.20 mg/kg.
