Scope

This part is applicable to the mapping, compilation, and updating of 1:500 and 1:2000 topographic maps in Tianjin City. It applies to the collection, updating, management, distribution services, and product development of 1:500 and 1:2000 basic geographic information data and public information; the construction and application of 1:500 and 1:2000 basic geographic information databases; and the construction of a public service platform for basic geographic information to meet the needs of professional information systems. This part also serves as the basic reference for various departments to use 1:500 and 1:2000 topographic maps for planning, design, construction, management, and scientific research.
