GB/T 20147.3-2023 Colorimetry—Part 3:CIE tristimulus values

Scope

This document specifies the method for calculating the tristimulus values of known spectral distribution color stimuli, which can be generated by self-luminous light sources or by reflected or transmitted objects. This document specifies that the color stimulus function be tabulated at measurement intervals of no more than 5 nm within the wavelength range of at least 380 nm to 780 nm. For wavelength measurement ranges smaller than 380 nm to 780 nm, extrapolation is recommended. This document provides a standard method for summation at 1 nm intervals within the wavelength range of 360 nm to 830 nm. For larger wavelength intervals (up to 5 nm) and shorter wavelength ranges (down to 380 nm to 780 nm), alternative simplified methods are defined. These alternative methods should only be used in appropriate circumstances and after the user has reviewed the impact on the final results. This document is applicable to colorimetry calculations, the design and manufacture of colorimetry instruments, and related colorimetry measurement applications. This document can be used in conjunction with the CIE 1931 Standard Color Observer or the CIE 1964 Standard Color Observer.
