DB44/ 579-2009 Electronic pressure cooker safety and performance special requirements

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, and test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, user manuals, transportation, and storage of electric pressure cookers. This standard applies to electric pressure cookers used for household or similar purposes, which are electrically heated, have a rated voltage not exceeding 250V, a rated cooking pressure of 4kPa to 140kPa (gauge pressure, the same below), and a rated capacity not exceeding 10L. This standard does not apply to electric pressure cookers used under special conditions involving corrosive and explosive media (such as dust, flammable gases, etc.).
