Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designations of urea-grade austenitic stainless steel rods, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to rolled or forged urea-grade austenitic stainless steel rods with a nominal size not exceeding 400 mm (hereinafter referred to as steel rods). Steel rods with a nominal size greater than 400 mm can be used for reference.
