Scope

This document specifies the method of designating the grades of steel plates and steel strips for fire-resistant structures, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This document is applicable to steel plates with a thickness of not more than 150 mm and steel strips with a thickness of not more than 25.4 mm, and their sheared steel plates (hereinafter referred to as steel plates and steel strips), which are mainly used for manufacturing general structures and engineering structures with fire-resistant performance.
