Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of steel plates and steel strips for fire-resistant structures, the method of designating grades, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to steel plates and steel strips (hereinafter referred to as steel plates and steel strips) with fire-resistant properties and a thickness of not more than 100 mm for use in building structures.
