Scope

This part of GB/T 27612 specifies the test conditions and methods for the water volume distribution characteristics of sprinklers used in agricultural irrigation. It mainly includes the indoor and outdoor rain gauge radiation arrangement method and the rain gauge square grid arrangement method.
This part is applicable to the testing of specific performance such as the uniformity of water volume distribution, sprinkler range, and spray height of all types of irrigation sprinklers classified in ISO 158861.
This part is not applicable to mobile irrigation systems or sprinklers with a range of less than 1.0 m.
This part does not involve the frost resistance performance test of sprinklers used under freezing conditions, nor does it involve issues such as water droplet spectral measurement and characteristics, soil compactness, fog droplet drift, and evaporation loss.
When evaluating irrigation areas using this part, the sprinklers used for testing should be consistent and arranged according to a repeatable fixed geometric pattern.
