Scope

This part of GB 22793 specifies the test methods for evaluating the safety requirements of children's high chairs and multifunctional chairs for household use in accordance with GB 22793.1—2008 "Children's High Chairs—Part 1: Safety Requirements".
This part does not apply to high chairs that can be converted into low chairs, low chairs and tables, or high chairs with additional functions such as baby walkers, pushchairs, rocking chairs, car seats, and reclining low chairs.
This part describes a series of loading tests for different parts of high chairs when simulating normal use and foreseeable misuse.
These tests are designed to evaluate the performance of the product and do not consider materials, design/structure, or manufacturing processes.
These tests are applicable to products that have been fully assembled and are ready for use.
The test results are valid only for the tested samples. When the test results are intended to be used for other similar products, the samples should be representative of these products.
If the design structure of the specimens is not suitable for the test procedures of this standard, the tests should be conducted as far as possible in accordance with the procedures specified in this standard, and the differences from the specified procedures should be listed.
