Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of continuous-format paper used for information processing.
This standard applies to folded continuous-format paper with drive positioning holes used in impact printing devices in information processing equipment, and it can also be used as printing output paper for administrative, commercial, and technical documents. The total width dimensions of the paper specified in this standard do not apply to continuous-format paper used in printing devices with non-adjustable paper feeding drive components.
