Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of electric power consumption per standard unit of output for pure cotton yarn products produced by cotton spinning enterprises, as well as the spinning process and calculation method for ring-spun pure cotton yarn.
This standard applies to the calculation of electric power consumption per standard unit of output for pure cotton yarn products produced by cotton spinning enterprises by ring spinning. The calculation results can be used as a basis for measuring the electricity consumption level of products among enterprises and for analysis and comparison. This standard does not apply to products of other new spinning production methods.
Products for which no unified provisions are made in this standard shall be specified by each province, city, or autonomous region on their own.
