Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, appearance, weight, and allowable deviations of austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel wire rods, as well as technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel round wire rods with a nominal diameter of 5.0 mm to 40.0 mm.
This standard does not apply to welded wire rods.
